Choosing the right herbicide for you!

There are a few key variations between marijuana wackers that you should be aware of before purchasing one. A good string trimmer will be one of the most important pieces of garden equipment you’ll have, so spending time researching will pay off after you start using your trimmer.

The group of herbivores that we are going to discuss first runs on gas. These are the most common types of herbivores, as most mid-size property owners can own one, and probably every landscape professional will have a gas-powered one in their equipment arsenal. Gasoline herbivores, or string trimmers, as they are also called, run on a pure gas fuel engine or a combination of gas and oil. Gasoline string trimmers are known for their power and endurance, which is why they are often the best choice for homeowners with large lawns, as well as landscaping professionals. Due to their toughness, gas powered string trimmers can handle some tough weeds and some heavy grass areas where their electric counterparts, which we’ll get to in a few, might run into some issues. Another great benefit of the gasoline engine family is that they are more mobile, which means you can fit a gasoline-powered string trimmer in the back of your truck or in the trunk of your car, with a fuel can in case. you need it, and don’t worry about cable lengths, as with electric wire trimmers, or constant battery charges, like you would with a cordless wire trimmer. And finally, a gasoline string trimmer can be a versatile piece of equipment, it can be used on all lawns, both large and small.

Now within the wacker family of gasoline marijuana, you will see that they come in two different types. The 2-cycle weed eater and the 4-cycle weed eater. This is the difference in the type of engine, another known as a 2-stroke or 4-stroke engine. The 2-stroke engine is the most common engine for herbivores and requires a mixture of oil and gas as fuel. This can be a convenience or a hassle however you look at it. The 4-cycle weed killer works on pure gas like a lawn mower, but you will need to change the oil instead of using a mixture. 2-cycle herbivores are generally lighter than 4-cycle herbivores, which can make a big difference if you’re not used to taking great care of your lawn or using heavy equipment. Another key difference between the two is that a 4-cycle herbivore is more environmentally friendly and leaves fewer emissions.

Okay, we got the gas-powered grass wacker covered. We know the differences between a cycle of 2 and 4 cycles. But we’ve only looked at half of what’s out there. The second group of herbivores that we are going to look at is the electric herbivores. Electric herbivores can be battery powered or come with a cord attached. Let’s first talk about the ones with the laces. Electric (laced) herbivores are usually the cheapest of all herbivores on the scoreboard. For good reason though, because they’re strong enough to handle simple weed-clearing jobs first, and they’re only good for short-distance weed-clearing (from your home or power source). Yes, some people may have electrical outlets throughout their garden, but if your garden is that large then I would stay away from electric weed-removers mainly due to the lack of power required to maintain a large garden. Besides the price, what else makes an electric brush cutter worth it? Well, two main reasons.

First, the weight of an electric weed remover is light as a feather, so you can easily use it without worrying about arm sores or back pain. Second, it makes a lot less noise than a gas trimmer, so you can remove weeds at night or early in the morning without disturbing your neighbors.

Now we hit the electric corded weed removers, and also the gasoline string trimmers, now we combine the mobility of a gasoline herbicide with the price of an electric weed remover and you have: “the battery operated weed remover!” Okay, it’s not as impressive as I made it sound, but it really is a good solution for a combo between the two. It still runs on electrical power so the battery operated weed wacker doesn’t have the power and noise force of a gas unit. But, it is much better than corded electric as you can roam your garden without cables. The battery powered grass wacker usually comes with a charger and the average batteries run for half an hour to an hour, before you have to change the batteries and recharge them. They are good for an average size garden and share the benefit of being light and not noisy. Electric herbivores are also more environmentally friendly and don’t put as much pollution into the air.

So there you have it a synopsis of the 3 herbivore families, now is the time to decide which one is right for you.
