DreamHost Review: My Personal Experience Setting Up My Account

In case you are looking for a reliable hosting company to host your site, this review will help you decide if DreamHost is right for you. This is my own personal experience with them.

I went to your site through the WordPress page. The fact that they are approved by WordPress is one of the reasons that made me sign up with them. It’s simple. There are many bloody tales about people’s ordeal with many web hosting services. So I signed up for shared hosting for $8.95/month, which is very cheap. I filled out the online application form and within 3 hours of my application, my account was approved. So I talked to their customer service to find out when my website will be up and they said it would be in 4-8 hours.

When I checked, it was active within 6 hours (ie around 3:55am after I finished chatting with the customer service rep at 10pm the day before).

So I installed my WordPress blog with a one click install. That is another good point that attracted me to your service. I mean, instead of learning a lot of stuff or memorizing a lot of code just to host my blog, all I had to do was click the Install icon and boom! My site is up and running.
