How to make a clean break from a stinky relationship and feel guilt-free

If you’re in a relationship for the first time that has broken up, it’s often hard to let go and find “closure.” The word “close” literally means to shut the door on anything or anyone.

In other words, closure is about letting go of the past and not dragging it into the present. In the context of a relationship, this means letting go of that relationship and starting over with someone new, hoping to lead to a better one.

In fact, you can find closure in many ways. But how you do it depends a lot on your way of thinking and your specific case.

Here are 10 ways to find closure after a sucky relationship breakup:

one. Let your close friend know that the relationship is over and that you’re okay with it.. Get emotional support from your close friend to help you stay focused on the present and the future and not live in the past.

two. Call or meet with the person you are breaking up with and start a clean breakup. Tell the person honestly that the relationship isn’t going the way you wanted it to and that it’s best for the two of you to go your separate ways.

3. Shift your focus back to yourself. Your personal interests may have taken a backseat while you are busy with your previous relationship. It’s time to refocus on yourself and pick up where you left off on the things you’ve always wanted to do.

4. Take up a new hobby or activity to keep yourself busy. If you always go out on Friday nights, maybe now is the time to spend time with your close friends for some meaningful activities or watch movies. Alternatively, you could help out at some charity events.

5. Stop thinking about your old relationship. Try not to think about your old relationship anymore. If he does, tell yourself the reasons why he let the person go and that they are not worth holding on to.

6. Use a mantra to help you refocus. Keep repeating this mantra in your mind and soon you will begin to believe in it. Soon he will begin to behave differently, but for the better.

7. Get rid of things that remind you of the relationship. You don’t need to throw them away, just keep them in a box where things can be out of sight. Perhaps, at some point in the future, he will have the strength to visit them again, bringing back good memories instead of being dragged into the past.

8. Maintain your wellness. Adopt a healthy lifestyle by practicing healthy eating, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep. Make sure you stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water every day.

9. If you feel sad about the breakup, let it out. It’s understandable that you feel sad when the relationship ends. Don’t suppress your emotion; just cry

10. Find out what has gone wrong in the relationship. Look back when you feel comfortable, this will not arouse your emotion.

– If it hurts you too much to talk to the person, write them a note.

– Delete the person’s contact from your phone’s memory.

– Delete photos where the two were together.

– Keep the gifts that the person gave you.

– Write in your journal about your feelings, so you can express them instead of bottling them up.

– If you have done something that could have influenced the breakup, admit it.

– Become aware of the signs that herald the imminent end of the relationship.

– Resolve not to make the same mistakes in your future relationships.

If you’re the one who doesn’t want the relationship to end, chances are you’re still ‘holding the torch’ for that person. In this case, you may find it difficult to find closure, but remember that the emotional cost of keeping hope might be too high for you to bear.

In the best interest of your well-being, conscience, and happiness, open a new chapter in your life and accept that the relationship is over. Let go of the past, close the door and look forward to a brighter future.
