Control penile odor caused by alcohol

For many, this summer has been especially hot, and not a few guys have addressed that intense heat situation by eliminating a good number of cold summers. While an ice cold beer can feel especially good when the temperature rises, it’s possible that drinking alcohol, whether in the form of beer, wine, or liquor, can contribute to a penile odor situation in some men. And since penile odor is a major penile health concern for many, and since summer weather can also contribute to increased penile odor levels, men may want to take some steps to address this problem.

Alcohol and penis odor

To be fair, drinking alcohol doesn’t just create penile odor; rather, drinking alcohol, especially in large amounts, is associated with increased body odor throughout the body, including the penis. The unpleasant tint that alcohol can provide to a person’s breath, especially the morning after sinking too deep, is already well known. But alcohol can in some cases create an odor that permeates the body itself.

This alcohol-based body odor is most typically found among people who generally binge on alcohol. For an alcoholic, the result can be an aroma that lingers over the long term, and complete “drying” is necessary before the odor disappears.

But for the occasional alcohol user, the problem usually stems from an occasional “binge,” in which a man who typically drinks only a small amount of alcohol at a time goes overboard and drinks much more than he usual. Normally, when a person drinks in moderation, the body metabolizes about 90% of the alcohol. The remaining 10% or so leaves the body through urine and sweat. But if a man drinks too much alcohol at one time, the body metabolizes a smaller percentage and more and more leaves the body through sweat.

The alcohol released by sweat has a distinctive and unpleasant aroma, and when it leaves the body through sweat around the penis, the resulting penile odor can be especially rancid.

To do

Clearly, the easiest way to avoid this particular penis odor problem is to not drink. (And if a person has a drinking problem, getting professional help to stop drinking can make a world of difference in areas far more important than penile odor control.) But for the occasional drinker, there are a few ways to help cut down on alcohol-related penis odor.

– Go at your own pace. Leaving time between drinks gives the body more time to metabolize more alcohol.

– Drinking water. Staying well hydrated also helps with metabolism. Drinking a glass of water between beers can make all the difference. It also transfers more alcohol to the urinary system, so less is available to be eliminated through the pores of the skin.

– Do not drink on an empty stomach. In the same way, some foods help absorb some of the alcohol.

– Do not mix drinks. Smells tend to be stronger when there are several different alcohols in the mix.

– Maintain penis health. Fighting penis odor caused by alcohol intake is much easier when the penis itself is in good condition. An easy way to work towards this goal is the daily application of a premium penis health cream. (Health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven to be gentle and safe on the skin.). Among the many ingredients that an effective cream should contain is vitamin A. This vitamin is known for its antibacterial properties, and it can help eliminate persistent penile odor. The cream should also contain alpha lipoic acid. This is a powerful antioxidant and is necessary to limit any oxidative stress damage that may come from the presence of excess free radicals.
