Making money on eBay: can it still be done?

Technically, anyone can make money on eBay. Most people can check their home and find at least a couple of dozens of articles they no longer want, list them on eBay and end up getting some money to spend. But there was a time when anyone could earn a full-time income on eBay. He could have had absolutely zero knowledge of running a business and still be able to make money on Ebay. But to quote the great Bob Dylan “times are a-changin'”

For anyone thinking of starting a full time business on eBay. I highly recommend that you treat it like a business. Gone are the days when mom and pop stores could stumble and have a successful eBay business. You need a game plan. It used to be that you can throw any piece of junk on eBay for a 99-cent auction and watch it go up to $30 or $40. It’s not that easy anymore. If you don’t believe me, just go to eBay and see how many listings have no bids. Newbies just don’t get the same free ride they used to. They are going to have to treat an eBay business like any other type of business. If you could do that, you are guaranteed success.

The thing is, it really is easy to make money on eBay. It’s just not as easy as it used to be. People who just jump into it, not knowing the process involved, always end up quitting within a month. The sad thing is that you hear more about failing internet businesses than successful ones. It really doesn’t have to be this way.
