When most people think of Australia, the first things that come to mind are kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, and the Dundee crocodile. Not many people know that Australia has some of the best surfing and skimboarding in the world. We are going to give you a list of some of the best beaches to play with your board.

1. Bells: Bells is one of the most famous beaches in the world for surfers. She was also made famous by the hit Keanu Reeves movie – Point Break.

2. Bondi: this fashionable place is the most famous among tourists. Many different types of people like to visit this beach, from surfers, bathers to lifeguards. Bondi is very close to Sydney.

3. Byron Bay: This beach is located in the easternmost part of Australia. This place has become a popular seaside resort and a great place to relax.

4. Cable Beach: This place has become known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It has stunning white sands and is most famous for its stunning red sunsets. This beach is located on the Indian Ocean.

5. Cottesloe: This place is located in Perth and is one of the most frequented places by locals. You can do it all on this beach, from fishing, surfing, snorkeling, swimming, or just going out to sunbathe and get a tan.

6. Four Mile: Four Mile got its name from the 4 miles of beautiful white sands that this place entails. There is a tropical jungle behind this beach that is ideal for tourists.

7. Gold Coast: The Gold Coast is one of the favorite places of many foreign tourists. This beach is a surfer’s paradise and is on every surfer’s wish list of beaches to visit before they die.
