"When will you find love?"

So many clients who are single and longing ask the age old question: “When will I find love?” In fact, it’s a good astrological question, and it can be seen in Western astrology by many different patterns. Let’s see some of them. Of course, the most obvious element to focus on is Venus, the planet of love. (For “advanced,” think secondary or solar arc.)

VENUS

Progressed Venus conjunct natal Sun (or vice versa, progressed Sun conjunct natal Venus) is usually the best indicator of a year in which the universe opens its doors and love enters your life, and in which you would attract to another person who has affectionate feelings. for you. This is a time in life when you shouldn’t be alone. However, the love object may not be romantic or permanent. My case studies reveal that in one case, this pattern identified the period when a child was adopted by a single parent who had never married (with the child being the true soul mate), and in another, the pattern pointed to a love story that put the last nail in a disintegrating marriage and set the individual on an important life path… but did not result in marriage. In the former situation, the mother also had Progressed Venus entering H7 (another obvious predictor) and conjunct the Natal Part of Fortune there, and in the latter, the relationship could be seen in retrospect as an important soul agreement, though not intended to result in permanence. Progressed Venus conjunct Progressed Sun (or vice versa, Progressed Sun conjunct Progressed Venus) is very similar in nature, as would be Progressed Venus conjunct H7 ruler. In the latter case, the nature of the planet that acts as ruler would greatly influence the type of relationship formed. For example, if Saturn, possibly an older or serious partner; if Mercury, a younger or friendly type.

Similarly, progressed Venus conjunct the Sun/ or Moon/ midpoint of the Descendant, progressed Sun conjunct the midpoint of Venus/Descendant, or the Ascendant or Descendant conjunct the midpoint of the Sun/ Progressed Venus would also be good indicators of a period on the life clock during which a loved one might show up. (My observation is that this search for love is not really just about romance, because it doesn’t always last. The real issue seems to be staying in love, ie marriage or a long-term relationship, so I’ll focus on H7 instead of H5.)

Conversely, the Progressed Sun conjunct Venus/Ascendant midpoint could indicate a love relationship (depending on the rulerships of the Sun or Venus), but could also easily indicate a period of comfort, self-love, and personal beautification. For those who work with declinations, the Sun/Venus, Venus/Ascendant or Venus/MC parallels would also see similar indicators.

Of course, if any of these delicious things happen at a very young age, its benefits will be wasted in terms of long-term bonding, but there are stories of young people bonding with a friend or neighbor who later becomes their true love. .. or at least his lifelong companion.

A Venusian progression towards itself, that is, progressed Venus conjunct natal Venus, can only occur when natal Venus is retrograde at birth and then turns direct during life, or when natal (direct) Venus turns retrograde. And since Venus retrograde lasts around 43 days (so 43 years in progression), being born as close to its parking lot as possible would guarantee plenty of time for this return to happen. Such a period will emphasize the nature of the natal meaning of Venus while also bringing out your Venusian qualities. If it is well aspected from birth, happiness can be brought forward; if afflicted, financial, romantic, or indulgent issues may be emphasized.

OTHER PATTERNS

But besides these obvious Venus implications, there are other conductive patterns as well. Slightly less obvious are:

Whenever the angles are involved with Venus or H7, there is a good chance that love will show up in one’s life, as Progressed Ascendant/Descendant strongly aspecting Natal or Progressed Venus or ruler of H7, usually a positive sign for marriage , or MC Progressed strongly. Aspecting Natal or Progressed Venus or ruler of H7, another great moment for love, even if the aspects are hard (because, after all, how hard can an aspect of Venus be?). In fact, any of these would be wonderful for timing a wedding, as would the H7 Progressed ruler with a strong Natal aspect or Progressed Venus. Even a less obvious aspect, such as the Ruler of H7 in a feasible aspect of a love-connected angle or planet, could predispose to marriage-type energy.

A progressed Venus in major aspect to natal Neptune is often found at times of romantic events such as weddings, but it tends to embellish the emotions and cloud the reality of the relationship. Such unions will face greater than usual tests regarding the longevity of the marriage, but they can certainly survive progression if an effort is made after their approval to deal with the less-than-ideal characteristics of the couple that would later reveal themselves.

Then there are relationship indicators that usually emphasize your potential, like the Progressed Moon in Libra or H7, or the Progressed planets in H7, or even the Vertex Involvement when in H7. (The Vertex, which is normally in the 5th-8th Houses, I have observed, functions as a fulcrum around which key events form, so if it is in H7, key associations will be accentuated when they occur). activate the Vertex). If the natal chart has planets in H7, progressions or transits of outer planets to them will certainly accentuate relationships (but such horoscopes will always deal with partners, or the consequences of their lack, as that was part of the life plan). ). Venus-Moon patterns often result in overall satisfaction for an individual, but do not necessarily show romantic involvement; sometimes they signal the birth of children.

Regarding harmony in a relationship once formed, look at the Progressed Venus of one partner following the Progressed Sun of the other, and vice versa, or both Progressed Venuses following each other (a situation not always shown in conjunctions between comparative Venuses in birth charts, as this occurrence will be determined by the difference in age between the two individuals, as well as their birth patterns). Of course, the issue of synastry is separate, to be applied after a relationship has been formed to analyze the positive and negative potential between the two horoscopes, so it does not fall within the parameters of this article.

LESS LIKELY TO BE PERMANENT

Finally, there are patterns that can arouse love, but offer the minimum guarantee of long-term permanence:

Transiting outer planets conjunct Natal or progressed Venus or the ruler of H7 will bring out the qualities of these planets, but they can be unpleasant or fleeting as easily as the reverse, depending on the meaning of the transiting planet or the natal potential of the planet in transit. . For example, Uranus on Venus could provide an exciting but transitory love experience, while Saturn could be restrictive or serious. Neptune would likely trigger delusional fantasies about a partner or bring a weak or compromised person into one’s life whom one would wish to rescue. And Pluto, of course, would likely offer a powerfully transformative experience that could alter one’s approach to sex, love, or money forever! The transit of outer planets to H7, on the other hand, would probably highlight the need to deal closely with others, but much less likely, the arrival of love.

A FALSE FEAR

Anyone who trusts the truths of astrology should forever dismiss the fear that aging will ruin their chances for love. is a legend. For example, I had a 70-year-old client, an artist, who found a suitor when her Progressed Sun was sextile her Ascendant while her Progressed Venus was opposite her Moon, and her Progressed Venus was trine Neptune , crossing its south. node. (The last pattern shows a love connection from previous lives.) Once it was intended to happen (by any of these aforementioned patterns), the universe will do everything possible to bring two people together. People will meet “accidentally” or on faraway journeys to places they will never visit again, or be introduced by a third party who will never appear again in any of their lives. Coincidence or synchronicity will abound, and the non-astrologer will be in awe of such “luck”, while the astrologer will nod knowingly as the Divine Plan is revealed through cosmic mathematics.

When one of these patterns enters your chart, you will see the door of love swing open in your heart. But it will be up to you to keep its flame burning from then on. A word of warning though: as I said earlier, Venus symbolizes love, not necessarily between two romantic partners. I have several examples in my files where one of these patterns brought a soul mate to life in the form of a loved child. Venus can also symbolize pleasure and financial well-being. The right partner can even bring nice financial terms along with love (like marrying well), if the horoscope predisposes. But if the natal chart doesn’t, then the positive Venusian aspects will bring other kinds of love (like the aforementioned never-married adopter whose difficult Sagittarius Sun/Moon/Saturn natal square precluded marriage possibilities in incarnation).

CASE STUDIES

Some Venusian pattern case studies revealing strong love-based events in my archives are as follows:

A forty-six year old widow meets her second spouse: progressed Sun semisextile progressed Venus and progressed Moon in H7.

A seventy-year-old woman is courted: the Progressed Sun sextile the Ascendant and Progressed Venus opposite the Moon.

The divorced woman meets the second spouse – Him: progressed Venus conjunct the Sun; Her: transiting Uranus conjunct Venus and progressed Moon in Libra. Woman’s life-changing affair: progressed Venus conjunct the Sun.

First marriage for young eligible bachelor – Progressed Venus sextile Ascendant and sextile Node; Moon progressed to H7.
