Fantasy Football Tips from a Fantasy Pro – Part 1

The following are some Fantasy Football tips that I have learned over the past few years; that have helped me win several games, a championship and finish at the top of several leagues. These tips are primarily aimed at PPR leagues, but if you’re in a standard league, they can help you too. Whether you are new to Fantasy Football or a veteran, I am sure there is something here for you.

Here are your Fantasy Football tips

Tip No. 1 – It’s all about the matchups, especially when it’s playoff time. This is one of the tips I had to learn the hard way.

Several years ago I was UNDEFINED for a whole season and I made it to the Championship. He had the BEST ROSTER and better players BUT the other one had a GOOD ROSTER with GREAT matchups. By matchups, I mean their players had an easier playoff schedule than mine. They played weaker defenses that couldn’t defend their players’ offensive positions as well. So his boys literally left and mine didn’t show up; mainly because of the confrontations and the council n. 2, which is …

Fantasy Football Tips # 2 – Be careful with the WEATHER! This is another tip that I learned in a VERY PAINFUL way. During this same championship game I had Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and probably at least one other player on my roster who was playing in a literal blizzard. SERIOUSLY. This was the year Brady and Moss broke TD records and the Pats were almost undefeated … You know, Brady is throwing 2-3 TDs per game and Moss is catching 1 TDs per game with 100+ yards receiving.

Well, that day, I don’t think Brady threw a TD and Moss probably only had a couple of catches. It was brutal. So now when I look at the NFL schedule, I’m looking for stallions that play in good weather or domes at the end of the year … just in case the TIME error pops up and kills my team.

Tip No. 3 – Fantasy Football tips n. 3 are comparable to Fantasy Football tips no. 1. Draft with the Playoffs in mind. Now nothing is 100%, because the NFL changes every year. But I’ll go to NFL.com or ESPN.com and look at TEAM STATS from previous years. You can highlight the “Scores & Stats” tab and then go to “Team Stats”. You can access all of this by going to NFL.com.

Fantasy Football Tips Conclusion – Part 1
