Healthy cooking with waterless cookware

My wife Silvia and I always try to cook in a healthy way. Most of what we eat is Latin-style cuisine. The trick is to use lean meats and trim the fat. She lets the natural liquid from vegetables and meat be the cooking liquid on the stove. Multi-element steam control cookware naturally lends itself to this.

We use many of the South Beach Diet recipes and several years ago strictly followed that diet until we reached our goal weight. Now we mix Latin cuisine with recipes from South Beach books. Using waterless steam control cookware is also perfect for these recipes. Of course, this would be true of any of the great successful diet regimens out there. Whether it’s Weight Watchers, South Beach or whatever, as long as there are plenty of healthy vegetables, reasonable amounts of fruit, reasonable lean portions of meat to your liking, and moderate starches.

They all work, and premium waterless steam control stainless steel cookware makes it easy. With any meat and vegetable recipe, including potatoes, just cook the meat (no oil or water needed) for 30 to 60 seconds on each side, cover with the vegetable topping, and when it begins to boil slightly, turn off the valve. steam control. This allows the heat to be distributed quickly and evenly to the point where you can even stack the pans and cook other delicacies on top of the first pan and still have the same heat distribution. If you follow this path, you will discover that cooking is quick, easy, and in a style that preserves virtually all the vitamins and nutrients.

have fun,
